Reed Finance is working with a charity based in Glasgow to recruit a Finance Business Partner. Reporting to the Finance Manager, you will play a key part in the finance department, providing business partnering support to a range of stakeholders.
You must possess excellent communication skills in order to provide support to non-finance stakeholders. Our client is open to both qualified and qualified by experience accountants. They offer a hybrid working model of three days in the office and two from home.
The main responsibilities the position entails are:
- Provide support and guidance to managers in relation to the financial performance of the organisation
- Contribute to the preparation and delivery of the annual budget
- Contribute to financial modelling, scenario planning and sensitivity analysis
- Lead in the financial planning, modelling and tendering of new and existing services
- Assist the Finance Manager in developing and maintaining finance strategies, policies, and practices
- Work collaboratively with managers to develop financial systems
In order to be considered for the role, you must possess the following:
- Excellent communication skills
- Previous business partnering experience would be ideal
- Qualified or qualified by experience accountant
- Previous experience in the charity sector would be ideal
