Business Analyst - Leeds (Law Firm)
As a Business Analyst within the IT Projects Team, you will be responsible for delivering business analysis across various projects. You will lead the analysis and validation of requirements for new systems and enhancements to existing systems. Additionally, you will occasionally undertake project management tasks to facilitate change.
Key Responsibilities:
- Conduct business analysis for technology projects, gathering and documenting requirements. Perform feasibility assessments and outline solution options.
- Collaborate with stakeholders and technical experts to develop aligned solutions.
- Design and lead workshops to review requirements and identify improvements.
- Act as a liaison between developers and stakeholders, managing specifications and project deliverables.
- Manage small projects or workstreams, including planning, scheduling, and documenting progress.
- Address change management aspects and support training plans for staff.
- Communicate project statuses to various stakeholders.
- Ensure information security requirements are prioritized in every project.
Skills and Experience:
- Proven experience in a similar role within a legal or professional services environment (essential)
- Strong knowledge of business analysis tools and techniques.
- Excellent engagement, facilitation, and presentation skills.
- Strong stakeholder management and analysis capabilities.
- Track record of successful system implementations.
- Flexibility in delivery approach and strong facilitation skills.
- Understanding of project management techniques and tools.
- Experience in IT project management and legal processes.
