We are actively recruiting for a payroll professional job opportunity with a successful, long standing, accountancy firm based in Bedford. The salary is negotiable and will of course depend on experience and qualification level and is open within reason.
Responsibilities:
- Work very closely with and supporting the Payroll Manager
- Basic payroll skills and the ability to perform manual calculations
- Process weekly and monthly payrolls
- Knowledge of Workplace Pensions
- CIS tax knowledge preferred (not essential)
Requirements:
- Have good eye for attention to detail and accuracy
- Have a positive attitude
- Payroll experience, ideally from an accountancy firm or bureau
