Cover supervisors for KS3/KS4

Can you supervise and manage secondary school classes during teacher absences?

We are excited to welcome a motivated cover supervisor to our team in Blackpool, starting in September. You will be working with KS3 and KS4 students, with a daily pay rate ranging from £85 to £100, based on your experience, qualifications, and teaching level.

In this role, you will be responsible for managing classrooms during the absence of regular teachers, ensuring that students continue to engage with their learning and maintain a positive educational environment. This position requires strong communication skills, the ability to adapt to various classroom settings, and a commitment to student success.

Responsibilities:

  • Supporting pupils within a classroom setting
  • Provide a well planned, purposeful learning environment
  • Use imagination to enhance learning experience
  • Be observant and manage behaviour and distractions
  • Collect in pre set work and return to the appropriate teacher
  • Manage the classroom and keep pupils on task
