We are excited to support a brand new client to Salt - a HUGE global tech giant as they seek to hire a Financial Data Analyst to join their team on an ASAP starting, 4-5 month contract.

With strong business insight, a solid quantitative/technical background, and ability to adapt communication styles to the relevant internal parties you will oversee responsibility for the annual financial business planning and forecasting and will work with cross-functional teams to achieve the division's financial objectives.
Key Role Requirements:
- You will manage the full lifecycle of data science projects, from identifying business needs to delivering solutions that meet those needs
- Effectively explore new data science tools and their applications in business
- Ability to translate complex technical content for non-technical audiences and vice versa
- Develop and maintain data pipelines
Key Skills:
- 3-5 years of experience as a data scientist, data engineer, data analyst, or similar
- Experience with Python (Pandas, scikit-learn, and statsmodels)
- Proficiency in SQL and other query languages
- ESSENTIAL - Previous experience with Dataiku
- Solid understanding of statistical analysis and machine learning theory
- Proven experience applying data science/machine learning techniques to solve real business problems
- Experienced with machine learning techniques for time series forecasting
- Experience managing the full lifecycle of data science projects, from identifying business needs to delivering
- Possess strong verbal and written communication skills
