Chef Manager - Term Time only, Reigate Surrey £35k
Catering for an independent nursery and prep school, the kitchen provides fresh, nutritional food for approx. 240 pupils (including nursery) and 30/40 staff on a daily basis.
As the Chef Manager, you will be
- working within a team of 5 and ensure a high level of food is produced
- cooking and preparing dishes from scratch using seasonal ingredients
- creating exciting and nutritious menus
- customer facing so able to liaise with pupils as well as staff
Working hours are Monday to Friday, 40 hours per week, term time only.
Our ideal candidate would be
- a Chef Manager with a proven work history
- ideally experienced in catering for independent schools or B&I catering
- a real foodie with a genuine passion for ingredients and produce
- able to lead, manager and work well as part of a team
- attentive to detail and presentation
- strong in communication skills
- flexible and positive with a can do attitude
