Team Leader (Management Accountant) - Technical
Day Rate: £550 - £650 per day - Negotiable depending on experience.
Contract: Initial 3-6 month contract with a view to being extended
Work Schedule: Full time, Monday - Friday.

Spencer Clarke Group are working with a local authority in Bedfordshire to assist with the recruitment of a Team Manager/Management Accountant.
Role Brief: To deliver high quality financial services across the Council including technical financial advice, management of the fixed asset register and significantly contributing to the delivery of the Statement of Accounts in line with statutory requirements and timescales.
Key Responsibilities:
To provide high quality core financial management service to Closure of Accounts, Technical Financial Advice, Capital Accounting and Financial Control.
To prepare and present Reports and financial information and direct support to Portfolio Holders, Directors, Assistant Chief Executives and Chief Officers
To manage and motivate a team of Finance Analysts in the delivery of financial support services
What we're looking for:
Must be CCAB or CIMA Qualified with some post qualification experience in a similar role with a similar level of responsibility.
An understanding of accounting principles and standards relating to Local Authority accounts
CPD participation
