Adecco Recruitment is currently recruiting for on behalf of our client, a Process Operative to work for the Bamber Bridge, Preston site of an international organisation.

Permanent/Full Time 40 hours

Shifts on a rota (usually 6am to 6pm /6pm to 6am but TBC)

We are currently recruiting a Process Operator/Bulk Loader to work the Day and Night shifts as part of the Shift Production Team. Your day to day will involve the manufacturing of animal feed through a series of processes.

Job Title: Bulk Outloader/Packer

**Location: Preston

**Contract: Permanent

**Hours: Full-time (42 hours per week)

**Salary: £30,740 per annum

**Reporting to: Production Team Manager

**Your role

You will ensure that the out loading is done efficiently and to the confirmed plan. This is achieved by locating the correct products from either totes or bulk bins and operating vehicles on site in a safe manner.

**Your responsibilities

  • Loading wagons on time to the required plan
  • Checking vehicles before loading to make sure they are ready to be loaded, and are in a clean state
  • Ensure their shift is maintained to high level of H&S , and any issues are communicated in a timely manner and actions completed
  • To safely shunt HGV vehicles around company premises (training will be given), and to operate the forklift as required
  • Manage the loading space of the yard and vehicles while loading
  • To ensure that all raw Material loads are sampled
  • Operate the mill intake system in line with procedures for cross contamination
  • To ensure that the working area is maintained to an acceptable standard of Hygiene throughout shift
  • Maintenance of appropriate records, for production, maintenance and quality
  • To bag bulk raw materials using an automated packing machine, liaising with the production planner and team manager to ensure quality standards are met as well as customer requiremnts
