We are currently seeking experienced Electrical Installation Engineers to join our client's team in the Peterborough area. Our client, a leading independently owned property and infrastructure support services company, is known for delivering integrated building and facilities management services to a diverse Blue Chip client base across various sectors including Manufacturing, Food, Government, and private programmes.
Responsibilities:
- Carry out electrical installation and maintenance tasks across multiple sites.
- Perform tray work and conduit installation.
- Provide support for additional electrical installation work.
- Wire control panels accurately.
- Identify and resolve circuit faults.
- Work with 3 phase/single phase motors.
- Implement remedial corrective actions.
- Actively contribute to the improvement of plant operations.
Requirements:
- Experience in building/modifying control panels.
- Knowledge of BS 60204 Electrical equipment of machines/control panels.
- Proficient in fault finding.
- Experience/knowledge of testing to BS7671.
- Familiarity with Risk Assessment & Method Statements.
- Ability to read schematic drawings.
- Strong team player with flexibility in working arrangements.
- Adaptability to periodic tight timescales.
Qualifications:
- Electrical Qualifications (C&G, BTEC, NVQ).
- City & Guilds 18th Edition.
- Electrical testing experience (2391 or 2394/5).
- Industrial experience within the Food/Manufacturing industry.
