Who are you?
If you have proven experience as a Procurement Director or in a senior procurement role, within the electricals market, manufacturing, product design, and /or distribution then that would be ideal. You will have experience of working within an SME during your career, perhaps a ‘family' run business. Experience dealing internationally, especially with China, would be a big plus.
The business needs an emotionally intelligent leader in this role with exceptional ability to communicate complex ideas and strategies to board members, and lead and manage teams through change, as well as build and maintain external business relationships and communicate effectively with key internal and external stakeholders.
We would love a tech-savvy individual who has demonstrated success in implementing procurement systems and optimising procurement processes in their career, combined with a strong understanding of supply chain management, inventory control, and supplier relationship management.
