Orka Financial is partnering with a global business based in Reading that is looking to hire an experienced Shared Services Manager. The role will ensure accuracy in the month-end process and manage accounts payable, receivable, treasury, you will maintain compliance and optimise financial resources whilst leading a team.

Responsibilities
- Oversee accounts payable, accounts receivable, and expense processing.
- Ensure timely, accurate processing of transactions, invoices, and payments.
- Monitor and report on cash flow and liquidity, ensuring optimal financial resource management.
- Manage banking administration tasks, ensuring proper division of responsibilities and controls.
- Prepare and analyse financial reports, providing insights and recommendations to senior management.
- Monitor and analyse key financial metrics and KPIs to track performance and identify trends
- Identify opportunities for process improvements and automation within transactional finance.
- Drive implementation of best practices to reduce manual interventions and achieve efficiencies.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams, including Group Accounting, Finance Services
- Build and maintain relationships with internal and external stakeholders, such as vendors, customers, and financial institutions.
- Promote teamwork and share information and expertise to achieve group goals.
Experience
- Qualified Accountant with experience within transactional finance roles.
- Strong knowledge of financial systems, processes, and regulations.
- Excellent analytical, problem-solving, and decision-making skills.
- Experience in new process design and implementation.
- Proficiency in systems such as SAP BPC, Dynamics 365 Finance (preferable), Chrome River, Medius Flow, Blackline, SAP SAC, and advanced Microsoft Office skills.
