The Client
Our client is an award-winning national healthcare services provider overseeing the management and delivery of Primary Care, Urgent Care, Community Health, and Secondary Healthcare services across the UK. With the successful delivery of GP-led services across multiple sites in North Essex and an increase in patient demand, our client is looking to expand its senior clinical team by appointing a GP Clinical Lead.

The Role
As the Primary Care Clinical Lead, you will play a vital role in ensuring that safe, high-quality, and cost-effective services are delivered efficiently. You will work within a multidisciplinary team, including nurses and GPs, providing senior clinical leadership while ensuring all services comply with CQC regulations.

Key responsibilities include:

  • Conducting patient consultations and health screenings within private clinics, delivering the highest level of patient care.
  • Collaborating with national healthcare professionals on innovation and service redesign.
  • Leading training and mentorship programmes for healthcare professionals, including medical students, AHPs, doctors on the NHS Induction & Refresher Scheme, and GP registrars.
  • Driving quality improvements, research, and development initiatives.
  • Participating in regular audits and meetings to share best practices.
  • Travelling between sites in North Essex to provide consistent clinical leadership.

The Candidate

  • Must be a GP on the performers list with full GMC registration.
  • Demonstrates a deep understanding of the primary care setting and the ability to diagnose and assess patient needs.
  • Capable of leading teams effectively while also being confident in delivering independent frontline services.
  • Up to date with all mandatory training, appraisal, and revalidation requirements.
