Talent Acquisition Partner

Posted by Lovewell Blake.

Our business is founded on the quality of people that we recruit and retain.

We currently have an exciting opportunity to lead our work through the full cycle of helping the best people become part of our team. This will be a proactive role that will give you the opportunity to work with a range of senior management (reporting directly to one of our firm's partners) working across our five offices in East Anglia and a range of technical specialisms.

Initially contracted on a full-time basis for a fixed term contract to 31 January 2025), the role will give you the opportunity to work both flexibly and independently to facilitate your own development and accommodate a wider work-life balance.

Although weekly patterns can vary, the core role is based for at least 2.5 days a week in our Norwich office (other days to be spent in other offices and/or working flexibly). Key elements of the role are:

  • Undertaking the recruitment process including advertising roles, managing online job boards, filtering CV's, arranging/conducting interviews and completion of related administration (via use of IRIS Cascade)
  • Organising and facilitating the Firm's annual trainee intake process, including administration, attracting/sourcing suitable candidates, filtering application forms and organising/facilitating the assessment centres
  • Maintaining links with educational establishments to attract early career candidates. This includes regular dialogue with institutions, facilitating trainee insight evenings and attending careers fairs and school/college days as well as presenting at career events
  • Managing relationships with recruitment agencies
  • Working with other members of the team to ensure the onboarding of all candidates is the best experience possible.

As you will be the key member of our talent acquisition team some previous experience in a similar role is essential. Other attributes that would underpin a strong application include:

  • Strong communication skills whether face-to-face, online, written or via telephone
  • Demonstrable commitment to candidate and stakeholder care
  • Familiarity with creating recruitment related media i.e. advertisements, online posts and role descriptions (a separate team would work with you to produce specialist media content).
  • Curiosity about what we do and how we do it
  • A proven ability to work collaboratively and supportively with team members across a range of support and client facing roles
  • Organisational skills for oneself and those that you work with.

The salary is market based and supported by a competitive range of financial and non-financial benefits (befitting our Gold Accreditation at The Best Employers Eastern Region Programme in 2023).

For the successful applicant the rewards financially and in terms of personal development will be excellent.
