We are Dove House Hospice, a local hospice that have been providing end-of-life care for people in Hull and East Yorkshire for over 40 years.

We are now looking for a Data Analyst to join our team on a permanent, full-time basis.

The Role

As a Data Analyst, you will develop and implement data solutions that will support data-driven decision-making across our organisation.

Partnering with a range of teams and bodies, you will identify information needs, then leverage your analytical expertise to translate complex data sets into clear, concise reports and visualisations.

You will lead on data acquisition, transformation, analysis and presentation, optimising existing data collection mechanisms and proactively seeking new solutions.

Championing the use of good data to show impact, you will inspire all teams to have data at the heart of their decision making. The insights you create will assist us in the care we provide as well as helping raise awareness of our work that, in turn, will secure support to enable us to continue our work.

About You

To be considered as a Data Analyst, you will need:

- Experience working in a data analyst role
- Experience writing complex SQL queries
- Experience of analysing and investigating key performance information
- The ability to develop interactive dashboards and detailed reports using business intelligence software
- An understanding of statutory obligations such as GDPR
