JobPurpose:

Primaryfunction of this roleisforcustomers tohaveonepointofcontactfor their sales order from submission to mobilisation and training.

The role will require the ability to deal across functions, liaising with the Sales Manager/Sales Director/Workshop/Demo and Customer Sites either direct or indirect.

Key Responsibilities

Promptly dealing and responding quickly to customer enquiries by telephone and email in adherence with the enquiry procedure.

Act as secondary contact for all customers after the sales team

Accurately processing customer orders, ensuring the order acknowledgement is issued to the customer immediately for approval, using SAP

Co-ordinating the entire process from point of order through to delivery in line with customer's delivery requirements, working with Parts and Stores, Workshop Personnel and Transport Department, providing accurate and regular feedback to customers on the progress of their order either by telephone and or email, save all correspondence relating to the order on SAP

Completing all administrative duties and support to the Sales team with all Administrative requirements to ensure smooth running of all accounts

Ensure the Customer Contact Strategy is set up for continuing contact and handover is done to the customer for aftersales

Day to day management of outstanding orders and back orders, maintain communication with customers providing updates on extended lead times and parts delivery.Escalation of issues effecting fulfillment of orders to Line Manager

Customer complaint handling

To attend bi-weekly forecast meetings and ensure accuracy of order and machine tracker for decisions to be made at the meeting based on this information

Skills required:

  • Minimum of 3 years Sales Administration or Customer Services experience
  • Good MS Office skills
  • Good educational background
  • Strong attention to detail.
  • Strong verbal and written communication skills
  • Ability to work to deadlines
  • Preference given to those with SAP/CRM experience
