My client, an international manufacturer of bespoke machinery, is actively recruiting an Assistant Buyer to join them on a permanent basis.
Reporting to the Purchasing Manager, this development opportunity will be to work underneath the highly experienced team of buyers and learn the ropes to develop from Assistant Buyer to Buyer. You will work to source the components and raw materials used in the production process of the end product. You will monitor orders and track inventory to ensure components and materials are delivered within production time scales. You will ensure you develop relationships with suppliers and ensure internal departments are informed of supply chain changes.
This role is ideally suited to a candidate with a passion to further and develop their career within purchasing.
