Customer Service Advisor

We are looking for a proactive and customer-focused individual to join our team as a Customer Service Advisor. This role involves answering calls and handling inquiries related to housing. The position is based in our contact centre in Pitsea, Essex, and offers an immediate start with the potential to become permanent
Day-to-day of the role:
- Answering inbound calls and responding to customer inquiries regarding housing (queries/payments/repairs).
- Providing accurate information and support to customers in a timely and professional manner.
- Logging all interactions and transactions accurately in the system.
- Identifying and escalating priority issues when necessary.
- Collaborating with other team members to ensure a consistent and high-quality service.
- Maintaining confidentiality of customer information at all times.
Required Skills & Qualifications:
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to handle a high volume of calls and maintain a calm demeanor.
- Strong problem-solving skills and the ability to think on your feet.
- Experience in a customer service role, preferably in a contact centre environment.
- Proficient in using computers and learning new software quickly.
