Your new company
An excellent opportunity has come available to work for a specialist service-based organisation in Brize Norton, joining a team of four reporting to the Office Manager. This role is a fantastic opportunity for a junior candidate, a recent graduate or an early-stage AAT student looking for their first administration/finance role. It would also suit an Administrator who is open to learning entry-level finance tasks.

Your new role
You will be required to carry out a variety of administration and general accounting tasks to support the running of the accounts department, working closely with the wider team. Your duties and responsibilities will include:

  • Processing supplier invoices, coding and entering them into ERP system.
  • Ensuring prompt invoicing to enable accurate close of ledgers at month/year-end.
  • Ensure monthly files and records are kept in accordance.
  • Raising purchase orders, and clearing down PO as required.
  • Assisting with the quarterly stock takes.
  • Processing company credit card expenses.
  • Chasing customer POs to ensure prompt invoicing.
  • General ad-hoc, answering telephone calls and directing calls etc.

What you'll need to succeed
You must have a desire to work in administration or finance, with the motivation to learn and develop new skills. As per above, it's a fantastic opportunity for someone wanting to move into accountancy and finance as their first role or an Administrator looking to broaden their experience - this role would be suitable for an Administrator, active AAT student, Accountancy and Finance graduate or someone looking to start their career.

What you'll get in return
You will receive a salary of £25,200 plus AAT study support if required.
