Field Service Technician - Printers and Photocopiers:

Our client is a leading provider of Managed Print Services, who are looking for an experienced Field Service Technician to join their growing team.

The Role:

  • To service & repair photocopiers & printers at customer locations across allocated regions within the UK
  • To be an ambassador for the Company and to deliver outstanding levels of customer service • To have strong mechanical, electrical and IT knowledge across a range of manufacturer devices

Key responsibilities:

  • Repair, install and maintain equipment in a cost effective and efficient manner on behalf of the Company
  • Monitor and maintain parts/items issued such as van stock, IT equipment, vehicles and protective equipment to the standard in which they were provided
  • To work and conduct yourself in a safe manner at all times to ensure the protection and safety of yourself and others
  • Take ownership of tasks allocated to yourself in a quick and courteous manner
  • Manage your time effectively whilst performing your daily duties
  • Ensure paperwork be it electronic or manual is kept updated and complete within the standards and timescales outlined by management
  • Ensure the correct Company procedures and guidelines are followed when using equipment
  • To report issues and situations which may affect the Companies daily operations and procedures, such as absence or accidents so they can be recorded and monitored effectively and promptly with the specified timescales to the appropriate manager
  • Report to management any changes in your personal circumstances which may affect your daily duties performed for the Company
  • To attend and be prepared for Company/department meetings
  • To maintain and improve business relationships with customers
  • To attend and support any and all hospitality events held by the company
  • To be involved in any projects as and when requested

Competencies:

  • Repair, install and maintain office equipment to a high level of workmanship and competency
  • Have a good understanding and interest in IT
  • Follow service department and health and safety procedures and share new and existing best practices with colleagues
  • Full UK driving license
