Or are you passionate about helping people return to independence?

We are seeking a dedicated Project Worker to provide practical advice, information, and support to service users on a range of issues including tenancy sustainment, education, employment, life skills, and personal independence.

The role involves supporting service users to improve their mental health, manage physical health problems, or address substance misuse if required, and providing intensive housing management to residents in our supported accommodation.

  • Job Type: Full-time (37 hours per week)
  • Temp to Perm

Day-to-day of the role:

  • Ensure residents receive a welcoming, supportive, and positive experience, adjusting to a home environment and settled way of life.
  • Manage a caseload, key working service users, and undertaking assessments, support plans, and reviews.
  • Build warm and positive relationships with service users, always keeping the individual's best interests at heart.
  • Deliver a package of support individually tailored for each resident.
  • Conduct health & safety checks within our buildings in accordance with company policies and procedures.
  • Enable residents to retain their accommodation, prevent evictions, and assist residents ready to move on.
  • Maintain accurate and fully updated case files for all residents.
  • Advise and assist service users in obtaining welfare, housing, benefits, and legal rights.
  • Encourage and support residents with addiction issues to engage with specialist agencies.
  • Develop living skills with residents, such as budgeting, cooking, laundry, and personal hygiene.
  • Provide evening and weekend cover across all sites as required by the work rota.

Required Skills & Qualifications:

  • NVQ Level 3 or equivalent in Health and Social Care (Adults), Housing, IAG (Information, Advice and Guidance), or any other related qualification.
  • Knowledge of the regulatory requirements and best practice guidance relating to homelessness.
  • Experience of applying Health & Safety guidance is desirable.
  • Experience of working with a range of stakeholders and partnership working is essential.
  • Clear communication skills, ability to cope with challenging situations, and establish trust with residents.
  • Self-motivation and the ability to work both independently and as part of a team.
