Key Responsibilities:
- Conduct psychological assessments and evaluations for children and young people.
- Develop and implement effective intervention strategies to support students' educational and emotional needs.
- Collaborate with teachers, parents, and other professionals to create tailored support plans.
- Provide expert advice and consultation to schools and local authority staff.
- Contribute to multi-disciplinary team meetings and case discussions.
- Prepare detailed reports and maintain accurate records in line with local authority policies and procedures.
Requirements:
- A recognised qualification in Educational Psychology.
- Registration with the Health and Care Professions Council (HCPC).
- Proven experience working as an Educational Psychologist, ideally within a local authority setting.
- Strong understanding of psychological assessment tools and intervention techniques.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to work independently and manage a caseload effectively.
- Proficiency in using digital tools and platforms for remote working.
