Description
- Lead the development and implementation of environmental policies and practices.
- Maintain and update the ISO14001 EMS & site Environmental Permit
- Conduct regular environmental audits and inspections.
- Develop communication lines with external agencies
- Ensure compliance with all relevant environmental legislation and industry regulations.
- Work closely with internal teams to promote environmental awareness and sustainability practices.
- Manage waste reduction programs and initiatives.
- Prepare and present environmental reports to senior management.
- Coordinate environmental training programs for staff.
- Oversee the company's carbon footprint and energy usage.
Profile
A successful Environmental Manager should have:
- Proven experience in a similar role within the FMCG industry.
- Knowledge of environmental legislation and industry regulations.
