Reed Education is on the lookout for an experienced and passionate Teaching Assistant to join our team in Wakefield, supporting Primary schools throughout the Wakefield region. As a Teaching Assistant, you will be an integral part of our nurturing and dynamic learning environment, contributing to the growth and development of our students.
Day to day of the role:
- Assist in delivering engaging and interactive lessons to primary school students.
- Provide one-on-one support to students with diverse learning needs, ensuring they achieve their full potential.
- Foster a positive, inclusive, and supportive classroom atmosphere that encourages student participation and learning.
- Collaborate with teachers to monitor student progress and contribute to their academic and social development.
- Participate in school events, workshops, and extracurricular activities, enhancing the educational experience for students.
Required Skills & Qualifications:
- Previous experience in a primary school setting is highly desirable.
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills to effectively interact with students, staff, and parents.
- A proactive and positive attitude towards education, with a commitment to student development.
- Relevant qualifications in education or child development are preferred but not essential.
