Reed Education is on the lookout for an experienced and passionate Teaching Assistant to join our team in Wakefield, supporting Primary schools throughout the Wakefield region. This role is perfect for someone who is ready to inspire young minds and make a lasting impact in the classroom. As a Teaching Assistant, you will be an integral part of our nurturing and dynamic learning environment, contributing to the growth and development of our students.

Day to day of the role:

  • Assist in delivering engaging and interactive lessons to primary school students.
  • Provide one-on-one support to students with diverse learning needs, ensuring they achieve their full potential.
  • Foster a positive, inclusive, and supportive classroom atmosphere that encourages student participation and learning.
  • Collaborate with teachers to monitor student progress and contribute to their academic and social development.
  • Participate in school events, workshops, and extracurricular activities, enhancing the educational experience for students.

Required Skills & Qualifications:

  • Previous experience in a primary school setting is highly desirable.
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills to effectively interact with students, staff, and parents.
  • A proactive and positive attitude towards education, with a commitment to student development.
  • Relevant qualifications in education or child development are preferred but not essential.
