Description
- Lead the development of a multi-year product plan to drive enhanced category performance, ensuring that market and consumer insights are central to your category activity.
- Develop new revenue opportunities for a high margin product range based on quality and service
- Market research and insights, keeping up to date with market trends and economic conditions both locally and nationally.
- Liaise with internal stakeholders and sales to leverage through stock, sales opportunities to existing and new customers.
- Utilise data effectively to provide analysis and insight to inform your approach.
- Collaborate with marketing and product teams to develop effective sales strategies and promotional campaigns.
Profile
- Highly driven and engaging Category Manager/Marketing/Sales person, who can confidentially connect with a new audience
- A proven commercial background from the Timber/Building Supplies/Commercial fit out industry
- Successfully maintain & develop credible relationships with the UK's major contractors and end user market.
- Professional approach to project delivery with highly developed organisation skills.
- Excellent communication skills both internally and externally, with a collaborative approach.
- Knowledge of the Timber industry and ideally the Veneered product market will be an advantage.
- Proficient in the full MS Office suite, Excel specifically
- Experience in Bistrack operating system an advantage.
- Full UK drivers license
