Job Purpose
- Managing a varied portfolio of clients, overseeing workflow, deadlines, and budgets
- Working with the Senior Management team to deliver excellent accounting services
- Planning and undertaking assignments, striving to deliver service excellence
- Leading a team of accountants, reviewing work, providing constructive mentorship, and motivating those around you
- Winning new client work and building a professional network
- Contributing to the firm's growth by retaining existing clients and building relationships with prospective clients
- Reviewing processes and implementing more efficient ways of service delivery
- Setting an example to junior staff as a hands-on Senior Manager
- Reviewing work and providing mentorship to junior staff
- Undertaking own professional development by actively seeking further learning opportunities

The Successful Candidate
- ACA or ACCA qualified or equivalent, with demonstrable experience within practice
- Experience managing a client portfolio of owner-managed businesses
- Previous experience leading a team, including reviewing work and providing mentorship
- A sound commercial understanding and acumen
- A greater leader who enjoys coaching their team
- An energetic business developer, keen to build contacts and a wider network
- Organised and able to oversee a team's workload effectively
- An excellent communicator, able to build rapport with people at all levels
- Confident working closely with senior management
- Motivated and able to inspire others
- Collaborative and creative
