Our client seeks an enthusiastic IT Support Engineer to join their expanding technical services team in London Bridge. This varied role offers the right candidate the chance to gain experience across a wide range of technologies, operating systems, and infrastructure. You will be the first point of contact for their clients, creating tickets and learning how to troubleshoot various issues. The position is based at their London Bridge office, with occasional on-site visits to clients around Greater London. Typically, you will spend 1-2 days on-site and the remainder in the office.
About You
We are looking for someone with at least one year of first-line commercial support experience. You should enjoy working with people, be team-focused, well-presented, articulate, and able to communicate at all levels. You thrive on challenges and quickly pick up new technologies. Working at our busy support desk will provide excellent on-the-spot learning opportunities, helping you to enhance your skills rapidly. Be prepared to dive in, answer the phones, and start learning fast!
Basic Job Responsibilities
Provide first-line support to customers via phone, email, or in-person for IT-related issues.
Diagnose and resolve hardware, software, and network connectivity problems.
Troubleshoot technical issues, escalating complex problems as needed.
Assist with software installations, upgrades, and patch management.
Set up user accounts, email accounts, and access permissions in Active Directory, Office 365, and other systems.
Document support tickets and resolutions in the helpdesk system.
Pursue required Microsoft Certifications.
Qualifications and Skills
Proven experience in a similar technical support role.
Strong knowledge of Microsoft 365 administration.
Proficiency with Windows operating systems.
Excellent communication skills and a customer service-oriented mindset.
Strong problem-solving abilities and attention to detail.
