Job Title: Experienced Delivery Manager

Eastbourne (3 days in office per week)
Our client is seeking a talented and experienced Delivery Manager to join its agile development team. The successful candidate will play a key role in guiding the team to efficiently deliver high-quality software products and platforms. This role requires strong leadership in agile methodologies, excellent problem-solving skills, and the ability to collaborate cross-functionally with various teams.
Key Responsibilities:
- Facilitating the planning and execution of agile practices.
- Mentoring agile teams to deliver high-quality software following lean-agile principles.
- Collaborating with project managers and sales teams on product/project roadmaps.
- Overseeing the coordination of development sprints, removing barriers, and mitigating risks.
- Tracking progress, managing dependencies, and monitoring velocity/productivity metrics.
- Leading daily stand-ups, sprint reviews, retrospectives, and backlog grooming.
- Communicating updates, priority shifts, and changes proactively to stakeholders.
- Managing project tools such as Jira Software and Jira Service Desk.
- Ensuring all development output meets the required quality standards.
Requirements:
- 3+ years of experience with agile methodologies (Scrum, XP, Kanban).
- Strong servant leadership skills.
- Technical background with a solid understanding of the software development lifecycle.
- Excellent communication, negotiation, and coaching abilities.
