PURCHASING INVENTORY MANAGER
MONDAY - FRIDAY: 09.00 - 17.00 / 10.00 - 18.00
£65,000 - £85,000 PER ANNUM, DEPENDING ON LEVEL OF EXPERIENCE + CAR ALLOWANCE
People Solutions have a client based in Birmingham who are seeking an experienced Purchasing Inventory Manager to join their friendly team.
This is a permanent job offering a salary, depending on level of experience, from £65,000 up to £85,000, plus car allowance. This salary range is broad and is based on previous experience.
The hours are Monday to Friday 9am - 5pm and 10am - 6pm (no weekends)

Day to Day Duties
- Supporting Operations, Finance, Quality and Sales Department and all areas of Customs and Excise HMRC Activity
- Negotiating prices with suppliers around the world
- Stock analysis
- Work closely with all departments to ensure an efficient flow of inventory
- Ownership/co-ordination of the actions associated with all supplier rescheduling
- Maintaining an accurate inventory database that includes detailed information on available stock
- Responsible for quarterly reviews of all non-moving parts
- Will be required to interact with the purchasing teams to ensure supplier order books are matched to the advised demand profile and stocking requirement
- Perform Daily analysis to predict potential inventory problems and implement a solution
Essential Skills
- Degree level Purchasing Qualification
- Inventory/Purchasing/Supply Chain experience is essential
- Strong Mathematical skills
- Willing to travel to Head Office, which is overseas
- Strong negotiation and Commercial skills
