Payroll Technician

We are seeking a Payroll Technician to join our client's established team. The successful candidate will be responsible for managing payroll services for a diverse portfolio of clients, ensuring accuracy, compliance, and timely processing. This role is ideal for someone with a strong background in payroll and a keen eye for detail.
Day-to-day of the role:
- Processing weekly, bi-weekly, and monthly payrolls for a portfolio of clients.
- Managing and resolving payroll queries from clients and employees efficiently.
- Ensuring strict compliance with payroll legislation and best practices.
- Preparing and submitting detailed payroll reports.
- Liaising with HMRC and other statutory bodies as required to maintain compliance and address any issues.
Required Skills & Qualifications:
- Proven experience in a payroll bureau environment.
- In-depth knowledge of payroll legislation and procedures.
- Exceptional attention to detail and a high level of accuracy.
- Strong communication skills, both written and verbal, to effectively handle client interactions.
- Ability to manage multiple tasks and meet strict deadlines.
- Proficiency in payroll software is essential.
