We are working exclusively with a large international organisation who need some urgent support with their Group Financial Reporting by recruiting a technically astute Financial Controller. Working across multiple European entities you will be involved in working with a variety of reporting channels, adding tighter controls with the international reporting and audit compliance.
Job Responsibilities for the Financial Controller (Reporting):
- Responsible for producing multiple sets of statutory accounts across different reporting entities.
- Assist with project work with the regional balance sheets and reconciliation presentation.
- Undertake appropriate GAAP assessment of the regional financial reporting.
- Assist with the period end activities and reporting.
- Understand and support the requirements for the due diligence process and associated reporting requirements.
- Proactively investigate historical data and develop tighter controls across the business.
- Liaise with the auditors at a regional level.
This role will suit someone who has experience of international reporting standards (US/UK GAAP), and preferably within a large business who has been exposed to various regional reporting entities. You will be technically strong on the financial reporting side and preferably ACA/ACCA/CIMA qualified with strong experience of the management of financial and statutory reporting.
