Our client, a private equity backed business based in the Midlands is recruiting for a new Finance Systems Manager, reporting to the Group Financial Controller.
The Finance Systems Manager will be responsible for the development of the core financial system and the integration into their new ERP solution.
Key deliverables include:
- Improve and develop more efficient workflows within Hyperion system
- Improve and develop the reporting functionality of Hyperion to support our Better Data Project
- Carry our regular data cleansing exercises to improve auditing / archiving
- Develop an online financial reporting and support for HQ, budget holders and sites
- Lead and Build a more efficient month end process for the Head Office and site finance teams input
- Develop efficient general IT/Finance processes
- Build process documents for all systems used by Finance and provide regular training/workshops
- Be the first point of contact for Finance systems
- Support the GFC and ITD on Finance systems strategy
- Build a preparation plan for the integration with InforLN (New ERP)
- Work closely and support our Global Process Owners on the Fusion project to ensure the standardisation of financial data structures, Chart of Accounts and reporting hierarchies meet all stakeholder requirements
- Build understanding of the Hyperion structure & configuration, and make improvements where necessary
- Lead the relationship with the 3rd party support provided by Accenture
- Understand the mapping and input from site local finance system to Hyperion and resolving issues
- Support ad hoc request related to the financial systems within Group Finance
The successful candidate will be a self-starter with a track record of demonstrating high levels of accountability, be financially astute, with significant experience of operating and configuring financial systems and internal/external audits. Able to confidently work with internal and external stakeholders.
