Robert Half are working in an exclusive partnership with a reputable SME business in Swindon to recruit a Management Accountant to join their team on a full-time permanent basis. This is a challenging, all-encompassing role that will work closely with the Financial Controller to prepare the management accounts, maintain financial records and supporting with adhoc projects. This is a great opportunity for someone that is AAT or qualified by experience that is looking for a new challenge and add value, whilst being a part of a growing SME. Salary is between £30,000 - £35,000 plus benefits.
The Role
The main duties of the Management Accountant role will consist of:
- Assist with the preparation of the monthly management accounts up to trial balance.
- Accruals and prepayments.
- Journal posting.
- Balance sheet reconciliations.
- Bank reconciliations.
- Maintaining financial records.
- Processing payments and credit card reconciliations.
Requirements
To be considered for the Management Accountant role, you must ideally possess the following skills/attributes:
- Must have experience in preparing month-end/management accounts; accruals, prepayments, journals etc.
- AAT qualified or QBE
- Good attention to detail
- Strong communication skills
- Good team player
- Hard work ethic
