Position Overview: The Senior Finance Manager will play a critical role in overseeing the financial operations. Ensuring robust financial management and reporting. This position offers an exciting opportunity to make a significant impact within a caring and supportive organization.
Key Responsibilities:
- Lead and manage the finance team, providing guidance and support to ensure accurate and timely financial reporting.
- Develop and implement financial strategies to support the company's growth objectives and operational efficiency.
- Prepare and present financial reports, including monthly management accounts, budgets, and forecasts.
- Oversee the preparation of statutory accounts and manage the audit process.
- Monitor cash flow, manage financial risks, and ensure compliance with financial regulations and standards.
- Collaborate with senior management to provide financial insights and recommendations for strategic decision-making.
- Implement and maintain robust financial controls and processes to safeguard company assets.
- Manage relationships with external stakeholders, including auditors, banks, and regulatory bodies.
Qualifications:
- ACA, ACCA, CIMA, or equivalent professional accounting qualification.
- Minimum of 5 years of experience in a senior finance role, preferably within the healthcare or care home sector.
- Strong financial acumen with a proven track record of strategic financial planning and management.
- Excellent leadership and team management skills.
- Proficient in financial software and advanced MS Excel skills.
- Exceptional analytical and problem-solving abilities.
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to present financial information clearly and concisely.
- High level of integrity and professionalism.
