Job Overview:

Axon Moore are delighted to be exclusively partnering alongside a rapidly growing, PE Backed business who are looking to expand an already high calibre finance function with the addition of a strong Finance Manager. This role will manage a team of Finance Business Partner's, and hold a commercial remit across the business, with oversight of forecasting and budgeting.

The role is ideally suited for Qualified Accountants with proven experience in a similar role. It is essential to have demonstrable skills managing a team and a strong commercial acumen. It would be ideal if individuals have come from a similar professional services background, or an industry with directly applicable skills.

Salary:

£60,000-£70,000 + bonus + hybrid working

Location:

Central Manchester

Main Duties:

  • Lead and mentor the Finance Business Partner team.
  • Collaborate with colleagues in other teams to continually support the company growth objectives.
  • Sign off on the Group net income on a monthly basis for all entities and provide detailed analysis.
  • Assist with the Group Balance sheet along with the wider finance function.
  • Review finance performance of multiple entities.
  • Assisting with monthly board pack delivery.
  • Overseeing cost budgeting and budget holder meetings.
  • Co-ordinating with Group finance on annual local audits.
  • Implementing and maintaining robust internal controls.

Person Specification:

  • ACA, ACCA, CIMA Qualified.
  • Strong experience within the Management Accounts and Finance Business Partnering, before moving into a management role.
  • Strong Excel capability.
  • Excellent communicator.
  • Experience working in an environment with tight deadlines.
