They are now seeking an experienced Account Handler to join their team as a Senior Client Services Executive, focusing on mid-market to large clients.
The Role:
As a Senior Client Services Executive, you will be responsible for maintaining a key client's Commercial Property Insurance portfolio. The role requires providing high-quality, professional, and efficient service while ensuring client satisfaction and regulatory compliance.
Key Responsibilities:
- Collaborate with the client to understand their needs and identify the most effective insurance coverage.
- Prepare general and claims information, documentation, etc., for pre-renewal and renewal meetings.
- Manage the renewal and placing process in a timely manner, highlighting potential risks, and agreeing to terms in line with client requirements, including any mid-term alterations.
- Ensure accurate recording of all information on Acturis.
- Deliver excellent customer service by swiftly responding to client queries and concerns, maintaining high service standards.
- Stay informed of current market conditions and external factors affecting the client's business and sector.
- Monitor and report on performance against agreed targets.
- Ensure compliance with regulations and procedures as laid down by the Financial Conduct Authority (FCA).
- Stay up to date with all changes in the regulatory framework.
- Collaborate with underwriters to amend policies when necessary to meet client demands.
- Act with integrity and maintain the company's reputation and high standards.
Skills, Attitude, and Experience:
The successful candidate will likely possess the following:
- Extensive knowledge of commercial property insurance, typically acquired through at least 5 years of experience.
- Excellent negotiation and communication skills, with the ability to secure the best outcomes for both clients and the business.
- Strong relationship management skills, building trust and mutual respect with clients and insurers.
- A commitment to delivering great customer service by responding swiftly to client queries and concerns.
- In-depth knowledge of the industry and sector, maintained through Continuous Professional Development (CPD).
- Thorough understanding of FCA regulations and procedures, with a commitment to staying informed of any regulatory changes.
