Requirements:

As a Primary Teaching Assistant, you will have at least a bachelor's degree in education, or a related subject. You will be dedicated to the education and wellbeing of young learners and will be committed to following safeguarding processes. To be successful in this role, you will have a natural ability to build close relationships with children and colleagues in order to create a positive and productive learning environment.

The Role

  • Providing 1:1 and small group support to young learners across all aspects of the syllabus.
  • Tracking student progress in order to identify additional support needs and provide feedback.
  • Creating strong bonds with both staff and pupils to ensure a positive learning environment.
  • Working in close collaboration with teaching staff to adapt learning materials in accordance with individuals' learning needs.
