Reed Food & FMCG have been briefed to recruit for a top employer, based in Banbury to join the business on a fixed term contract with a view to go permanent. The roles will role has day to day responsibility and ownership of Production and Warehouse Operations.

Operations Manager
£45,000 to £55,000 per annum depending on experience
Full time on site, Monday to Friday Office hours with Flexible start and finish times
Responsibilities:
- Working with the Head of Technical this role has day to day responsibility for Health and Safety practices and reporting, ensuring compliance with regulations and adherence to the codes of best practice.
- Ensure the Production efficiency is maintained in line with agreed company standards and that there is always a continuous improvement plan being created.
- Maintain overall daily standards at "Audit Ready" status (BRC, IFS, FSMA and customer specific) as defined by best practice and compliance regarding Food Hygiene regulations including maintaining all the required documentation.
- Ensure adherence to the Company Quality Systems, working with the QA department to ensure effective monitoring and corrections as necessary.
- Ensure that the optimum resourcing level of competent, committed staff are always maintained, identifying requirements and developing resourcing plans for holiday and sickness cover.
- Maintain an Engineers Planned Preventative Maintenance schedule, ensuring that downtime is minimised.
- Work with cross functional teams driving product innovation throughout the business.
- Identify CAPEX requirements and develop the necessary business case for annual business plan process.
- Successfully deliver CAPEX projects, achieving agreed objectives within budget
Person Specification:

- Proven Team Management Skills
