Job Description:We are looking for a dedicated and enthusiastic Level 2 SEN Teaching Assistant to join our team at a broad spectrum SEN school in Coleshill, Warwickshire. Our school caters to students from early years through to post-16, providing a supportive and inclusive environment for all.
Responsibilities:
- Assist teachers in delivering tailored educational programs to students with a range of special educational needs.
- Support students' learning and development, ensuring their safety and well-being.
- Work with small groups or on a one-to-one basis to provide targeted support.
- Help create a positive and inclusive classroom environment.
- Assist with classroom management and organization.
- Participate in staff meetings and professional development opportunities.
Requirements:
- Level 2 Teaching Assistant qualification.
- Experience working with children with special educational needs is preferred.
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
- Patience, empathy, and a positive attitude.
- Ability to work effectively as part of a team.
