Adele Carr recruitment is working with a well established agricultural company who are looking for a Purchase Ledger clerk to join their team in Shrewsbury
The Role
- Process supplier invoices and credit notes.
- Reconciliation of supplier statements.
- Supplier payments
- Maintain supplier records on the ERP system ensuring compliance checks are carried out as required.
- Scan, attach to records and file all documents in an accurate and timely manner to enable fast and easy retrieval.
- During colleagues' absences monitor all work and prioritise urgent tasks, bringing to management's attention where documents are not being processed.
- Assist with queries from suppliers and colleagues.
- Undertake any additional task required by the business within the capability of the individual.
Purchase Ledger Clerk - Skills:
- Experience of working in a finance department as a purchase ledger clerk - essential
- Organised administration - essential.
- Good telephone manor - essential.
- Familiar with Microsoft Business Central - desirable.
- Good level of experience using Microsoft office products especially Microsoft Excel - desirable.
- An understanding of agriculture sector desirable.
