We are supporting a company based in Bicester who are looking to recruit an experienced Lead Demand Planner. You will be offered a hybrid working opportunity working Monday - Friday 08:45am - 5pm (4:15pm on a Friday). Duties will include but not be limited to:
- Attend global demand planning meetings to ensure compatibility in processes and information sharing
- Complete root cause analysis when required
- Process monthly departmental reports
- Carry out customer service duties such as answering the phone, dealing with customer emails, completing surveys and questionnaires when required
- Working with internal teams to resolve customer escalations
- Review blocked invoices weekly and solve issues
- Review incoming orders for accuracy, part number, quantity etc.
- Perform all sales order and support functions in accordance with procedures
- Visit customers, when required
- Project work assistance
Must haves:
- Educated to Degree level or QBE
- Manufacturing background
- SAP working knowledge
This is a varied and busy role for someone with leadership experience and a natural ability to motivate and train a team while handling daily duties. This role will utilise your demand planning and customer service skills, ensuring customer satisfaction at all times. You must be able to confidently explain decisions and work with deadlines and KPIs. Ideally you will have experience within manufacturing although this is not essential if you have relevant experience within forecasting and leading.
