About the role

The business support team is a high-performing, busy team which provides administrative support to Dementia Support and Partnerships. Over the past three years Business Support has carried out a range of tasks which have increased in number, frequency and complexity, The Business Support Manager is pivotal in maintaining the existing high standards, seeking strategic opportunities, and working successfully with colleagues to deliver a first-class service. The business support team is key to improving efficiency in services.

The Business Support Manager is responsible for a team of approximately 30 staff, including five team leaders, who are responsible for the operational management of their own teams. The postholder is a key member of the Service Enablement and Improvement senior team.

About you

You will be an experienced administrative professional who thrives on meeting challenges, supporting colleagues, and identifying way to improve the business support offer. You will be skilled in developing and executing plans which are responsive to the changing needs of the business.

You will have strong interpersonal skills and will demonstrate our values in working with others, demonstrating compassion and expertise to support teams to achieve their objectives. You will be experienced in managing a large, dispersed team to work effectively together.
