Secondary School Teacher Needed in Central Southampton for September
Prospero Teaching is looking for passionate and dedicated Secondary School Teachers to join a supportive and dynamic secondary school in central Southampton. This role is open to teachers of any subject who have experience and a strong desire to inspire and educate students. Starting in September, you will work alongside an experienced team in an environment where every student is respected, listened to, and actively involved in their educational journey.
Position Details
- Location: Central Southampton
- Position: Secondary School Teacher (any subject)
- Type of Work: Teaching secondary school students
- Start Date: September 2024
- Contract Type: Temp to Perm/Permanent
- Full Time/Part Time: Full Time
- Working Hours: 8:30 am - 3:30 pm, plus occasional parents' evenings
Experience, Training, and Qualifications
- QTS or Equivalent: Required
- Experience: Minimum 1 year teaching experience in the UK, preferably in a secondary school setting
- Training: Up-to-date Safeguarding training issued within the last year
Eligibility
- Right to Work: Must hold the right to work in the UK
- DBS Certificate: Must hold an enhanced child barred list DBS certificate registered with the online update service or be willing to process a new application
- References: Provide two professional child-related references
