Role Overview:
As the Team Leader, you will be at the forefront of our packing operations, leading, training, and motivating a team of Packing Operatives. Your leadership will ensure the seamless execution of daily tasks and maintain the high standards of our products.
Key Responsibilities:
- Lead, train, and motivate a team of Packing Operatives
- Plan and manage shifts, holiday cover, and workload distribution
- Escalate and resolve issues with machines and equipment
- Step in to work on packing stations when short-staffed
- Manage personnel and performance issues
- Conduct daily briefings and ensure effective communication within the team
- Maintain meticulous attention to detail and adherence to security protocols
Qualifications and Requirements:
- Minimum of 10 years of checkable work history
- Clear credit history with no CCJs, IVAs, or bankruptcies
- No unspent criminal convictions
- Proven experience in a team leadership role, ideally in a packing or similar environment
- Strong organisational and communication skills
- Ability to motivate and manage a team effectively
