Cover Supervisor

We are seeking enthusiastic Cover Supervisors to join our dynamic school staff. This role is ideal for individuals who are passionate about encouraging students to maximise their potential and are eager to support students at KS3 and KS4. If you are skilled at promoting learning and maintaining good behaviour in the classroom, we would love to hear from you.
Day-to-day of the role:
- Supervising students in the absence of their normal teacher, ensuring that pre-set work is completed.
- Adapting to various roles as needed, including administrative support, mentoring, departmental support, and assistance with exams.
- Maintaining good behaviour and a productive working environment across a wide range of subjects.
- Managing changes in plans and schedules on a regular basis.
- Working within a team to provide support and share best practices.
Required Skills & Qualifications:
- Good communication skills with the ability to create a safe and productive working environment.
- Flexibility and responsiveness to adapt to changing circumstances.
- A team player who enjoys challenges and is committed to student education.
- Willingness to undergo training and shadow experienced colleagues as part of induction.
