The successful candidate will report directly to the financial controller and predominantly manage the purchase ledger process and assist some General Ledger processing.

Job Description: As an Accounts Assistant, you will play a key role in supporting the finance department with a variety of accounting tasks. This position is ideal for someone who is organised, proactive, and eager to develop their accounting skills.
Key Responsibilities:
Key responsibilities include all aspects of Purchase Ledger, including:
- Invoice processing. 3 way matching invoices and manual entry invoices.
- Query handling, debit note processing & liaising with suppliers.
- Processing payments and posting AP transactions on the bank.
- Statement Reconciliations.
- Inter-company reconciliations.
- Intra stat and VAT return.
- Month End Balance Sheet Reconciliations.
- Prepayment Journals.
- Month End AP Accrual Journals.
- GRNI House Keeping.
- Assistance with Site Stock Takes.
- Assist with Internal and External Audit requirements.
- Basic General Ledger Enquiries.
- Ad hoc sub ledger support.
