The Role
As an LSA, you'll:
- Support Learning: Assist in delivering tailored educational and therapeutic activities.
- Enhance Engagement: Use specialized strategies to engage students with PMLD.
- Provide Care: Offer personal care, including feeding and mobility assistance.
- Promote Communication: Support the development of communication and interaction skills.
- Collaborate: Work with teachers, therapists, and families to meet individual needs.
About You
We're looking for someone who:
- Is Compassionate: Passionate about supporting children with PMLD and other needs.
- Has Experience: Experience with PMLD is ideal but not essential; a commitment to learning is.
- Is Patient and Empathetic: Strong care-giving abilities and communication skills.
- Works Well in a Team: Effective collaborator and adaptable.
