Field Service Engineer - Forklifts

£34,000 - £36,5000 Basic Salary inc Door to Door + Overtime + Benefits.

Covering Yorkshire, Humber and surrounding areas.

A Fantastic opportunity has arisen for a skilled service engineer to join a fantastic company within the forklift sector.

Our client is well established and a leading dealer who specialise in forklift machinery. They are looking for a field service engineer to join their growing team.

Role & Responsibilities:

  • Servicing and repair of forklifts as directed by the Service Manager.
  • Diagnosing the exact nature of each query and repair with a friendly, efficient, 'can-do' attitude.
  • Work on lithium powered machinery as well as diesel and LPG.
  • Completing a service report for each job on a PDA system.

Knowledge, Skills & Experience:

  • Solid experience with forklifts is advantageous.
  • Confident electrical knowledge.
  • City & Guilds in mechanics or equivalent qualification is advantageous.
  • Be well-organised, good at managing own workload and able to cope with pressure.

Benefits Package:

  • £34,300 basic salary inc door to door travel - rising to £36,500 after probation period.
  • Overtime at 1.5x
  • Company Van (some personal use)
