Grafton Recruitment are delighted to be working with a leading ecommerce business, based in the Midlands, who are looking for a Head of Ecommerce to join their team. Our client is looking to speak to candidates who have experience in driving the online trading business and overseeing the end-to-end sales strategy.

As the Head of Ecommerce, your focus will be on maximising revenue, attracting new customers and ensuring that the online shopping experience is a seamless one.

THE ROLE:

Some of your responsibilities as a Head of Ecommerce:

  • Identify opportunities for growth and optimisation by monitoring and analysing e-commerce performance metrics.
  • You will lead a team and a performance marketing agency, in addition to running the online business.
  • Monitor the day-to-day operations of the online retail business. This includes product merchandising, pricing strategies and promotions.
  • Drive traffic and conversions through paid search, social media advertising and other performance marketing initiatives.
  • Provide regular performance reports to senior management, highlighting key metrics and actionable recommendations.
  • Liaise with the product and supply chain teams to ensure the optimum availability of products and the management of stock levels.
  • Establish and maintain relationship with performance marketing agency.
  • Act as a mentor and provide opportunities for the professional development of team members.
  • You will support the Digital Marketing Manager in the planning and execution of digital marketing campaigns across a range of channels.
  • Implement best practices to improve conversion rates and increase customer satisfaction.

THE CANDIDATE:

  • Can demonstrate previous experience as an Ecommerce Director, Head of Ecommerce or similar role.
  • Will have a Bachelor's degree in marketing, Business, or a related field.
  • Ability to flourish in a fast-paced and dynamic environment.
  • In-depth understanding of online trade, CRM, digital marketing and performance marketing.
  • Excellent communication and project management skills.
  • Understanding ecommerce platforms.
  • Strong analytic, strategic and leadership skills.
