Your focus will initially be sales and marketing, in particular launching test, measurement, and sensor-based products into the industrial and hazardous environment sectors (Petro-chem, Energy Generation etc).

JOB DESCRIPTION:

You will initially take ownership of our IEx/ATEX business development and marketing function, however, once settled, you'll gain increasing exposure to all commercial and operational decisions.

We have an outstanding product offering (sensors) utilising our embedded AI solutions, which to date has been used predominately by the water industry, able to offer demonstrably more accurate measurements at a cost-effective price point.

Key tasks:

  • Alongside the Managing Director create and execute a sales, marketing and product strategy.
  • Map the Global market with potential target clients.
  • Develop marketing material.
  • Working closely with the existing team to ensure a comprehensive offering to the client
  • Over time become involved in budgeting, procurement and full P+L

PERSON SPECIFICATION:

Having got this far, hopefully we have outlined that this is a hands-on role, an experienced professional business development person who can be instrumental in strategy but, crucially, is capable and willing in execution.

Most likely you will have:

  • A BEng Engineering degree (Mech/Elec/Chemical) or BSc (Chem, Physics) or be time served.
  • A proven track record in developing new business markets and executing sales strategies.
  • Experience of selling technically bias products to end users in hazardous environments in the Petro-Chem, Chemical, Energy Generation markets.
  • A mixture of experience in both corporate organisations and smaller companies.

The last 5 years have seen us opening and partnering with distributors across the world, with future global expansion in the strategy. We are on the verge of our next period of huge growth, widening our product offering and developing our technical expertise.
