Restaurant Reservations & Events Manager -

Position Overview:

We are seeking a dynamic and detail-oriented Events & Reception Manager to join our team. This individual will be responsible for managing the reception and events team, ensuring smooth and efficient operation of guest services and private bookings. If you have a passion for people, expertise in guest reservation systems, and a knack for coordinating elegant dining experiences, we'd love to hear from you!

Restaurant Reservations & Events Manager -

Key Responsibilities:

  • Reservations Management: Oversee and manage all aspects of the reservations process, using OpenTable or similar booking systems to handle guest reservations and optimise seating arrangements.
  • Private Dining Bookings: Coordinate private dining room bookings, ensuring all details are in place for a seamless experience from booking through to the event.
  • Team Leadership: Lead and motivate the reception and events team, creating staff rotas, training new team members, and overseeing daily operations.
  • Customer Service Excellence: Provide exceptional customer service, ensuring all guest interactions are positive, and maintain a welcoming atmosphere.
  • Event Planning: Collaborate with restaurant management to plan and execute special events and promotions, catering to the unique needs of our high-end clientèle.

Restaurant Reservations & Events Manager -

Requirements:

  • Proven experience in an events or reception management role within a fine dining or luxury hospitality environment.
  • Proficiency with OpenTable or similar reservation systems.
  • Strong people management skills with experience creating rotas, training, and developing staff.
  • Exceptional organizational and multitasking abilities, with an eye for detail.
